Scholarships for women at Djolu Technical College are increasing the number of local environmental leaders in Tshuapa Province, deep in the heart of the Congo Rainforest.
Sixty-four rising women leaders have joined the Pathway since 2022. These environmental leaders come from nonprofits, government and Tribal organizations—and all are finding ways to chart their own unique path to senior leadership in the environmental movement.
This year, we celebrated the second annual gathering for Indigenous women and allies across the water sector in the Colorado River Basin. This community is building a movement to steward and heal the Colorado River for generations to come.
